Sintered mesh filter baskets

Sintered mesh filter baskets are basket shape filter elements made of sintered wire mesh and other metal parts. The sintered wire mesh used is often with perforated metal for better self-supporting and pressure resistant.

Filter baskets often collect the solid in the baskets, therefore the flow direction is usually from inside to outside. By using the sintered wire mesh the filter baskets can have higher strength than traditional wire mesh filter baskets and there are no mesh deforming or peel-off when the baskets is under back pressure.

Sintered mesh filter baskets with fine micron rating are good substitute of filter bags. The sintered mesh filter baskets are suitable for backwashing and cleaning, thus ensure longer service life and require less shutdown time because there is no need to frequently replace filter bags.
