Sintered mesh filter media
Sintered mesh filter media is the multi-layer sintered wire mesh used for sintered mesh filters.
Sintered mesh filter media is specific the sintered wire mesh. Sintered wire mesh is multi-layer of wire mesh /metal filter cloth sintered as a whole plate by the process of sintering, or diffusion bonding.
Sintered mesh filter media includes standard 5 layer sintered mesh, all square sintered mesh, sintered mesh composite and Dutch weave sintered mesh.



Sintered mesh filter media is specific the sintered wire mesh.
Sintered wire mesh is multi-layer of wire mesh /metal filter cloth sintered as a whole plate by the process of sintering, or diffusion bonding. All the wire contacts of the single layer wire mesh and the adjacent wire mesh layers are melt and bonded together. The sintered wire mesh has the combined property of all the layers: the accurate filtration rating of the filtration layer, the strength of the reinforcing layer, the flow direction guiding of the dispersion layer, and the self-supporting of the comprehensive layer structure.
The sintered mesh filter media is often applicable in micron range filtration applications. It because the filter rating of the sintered wire mesh is limited to 1 micron as most precise due to the wire cloth micron rating.
The sintered mesh filter media is the most versatile metal filter media because the filter rating, material, layer quantity, layer structure, layer alignment, wire cloth type can be all customized. For example, 10 micron sintered mesh filter media, can be single layer sintered wire cloth for pleated filter, or standard 5 layer sintered wire mesh for filter cartridges, or customized all square weave sintered wire mesh for high flow and high permeability applications, or sintered wire mesh with perforated metal sheet for high pressure filters.

6 layers sintered wire mesh has additional 12 mesh than 5-layers sintered mesh to withstand higher pressure , then the thickness reaches 3.5mm, and weight changes to 14.4 kg/m2.

Sintered mesh composite
Perforated metal sheet, etching metal sheet, wedge wire plate, sintered metal fiber felt and other metal filter media can also be sintered with the wire mesh. Then we may have sintered wire mesh with perforated metal (hole plate), sintered wire mesh with wedge wire, sintered wire mesh composite with sintered metal fiber and other customized sintered mesh filter media type.
Dutch weave sintered mesh
All Dutch weave wire cloth can also be sintered to form all Dutch weave sintered wire mesh. The Dutch weave sintered mesh is popular in applications with air distribution, such as: sparger, fluidizing bed, aeration, ventilation, etc.
- Micron rating: 1 2 5 10 15 20 30 40 50 80 100 150 200 micron standard, other micron and filter cloth can be chose as request.
- Layer: single layer, double layer, three layer, four layer, five layer, six layer are mostly common, other layers up to hundreds are optional.
- Layer alignment: overlapping, 45 degree, 90 degree or other customized degree between certain layer.
